DayTrellis LLC (“DayTrellis,” “we,” “us”) provides a holistic ADHD coaching experience for wellness and education. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. DayTrellis is for adults 18 and older.
DayTrellis is not medical care. We are not a healthcare provider, and this service is not a HIPAA-covered service. Your quiz results describe a profile, not a diagnosis.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account: your email address and a password (handled by our authentication provider).
- Quiz responses and your plan: the answers you provide, the profile they generate, and the daily plans and check-ins you create.
- Coach conversations: the messages you send to the AI coach.
- Preferences: reminder settings, and newsletter sign-up if you opt in.
- Support: anything you send us when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Product analytics: behavioral events such as which features you use, which pillar a habit belongs to, your plan tier, and simple counts. We deliberately do not place your quiz answers, scores, or plan and message content into analytics.
- Device and log data: session and device identifiers, plus standard technical logs such as IP address, kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
How we use your information
- To provide the service and generate your personalized daily plan.
- To send reminders and transactional messages you have asked for.
- To operate, secure, and improve the product, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
The AI coach
When you message the coach, your message is processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. Please do not share information you would not want processed this way. The coach is educational, may be inaccurate, and is never a substitute for professional care. How we may learn from conversations in aggregate is described just below.
Improving our content and services
We may review coach conversations in aggregate, de-identified form to understand which topics people need help with, so we can create better educational content and shape new features and services. We look at themes and patterns, not individual identifiable conversations, and this analysis is never used to make decisions about you.
Service providers we share with
We share information only with providers that help us run DayTrellis, each for a limited purpose:
- Supabase: database, authentication, and secure storage.
- Vercel: website and application hosting.
- Cloudflare: DNS, content delivery, and security.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: transactional email and reminders.
- beehiiv: our newsletter, if you subscribe.
- Anthropic: the AI that powers the coach.
- Voyage AI: turns your coach messages into search vectors so the coach can find relevant library content.
- Google Analytics: aggregate usage analytics, with advertising features and cross-device signals turned off.
- Expo: mobile app infrastructure and push notifications.
- Apple and Google: app distribution and optional sign-in.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party functional storage for your session, sign-in, theme, and to avoid double-counting our own product analytics. We also use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used; it sets its own analytics cookies. We have turned off Google’s advertising features and cross-device signals. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service. Your coach conversations are stored so the coach has context across sessions and so you can revisit them; we do not currently expire them automatically. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time, and we will remove your information, including your conversations. Email support@daytrellis.com to request deletion.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, or delete your information, including deleting your account.
- Download a copy of your data from Account on the website or Settings in the app. The file is JSON. It includes your profiles, plans, check-ins, quiz answers, coach messages, and your usage records. If you have added a child profile, that profile's data is included. We do not email the file.
- Turn reminders off in your settings, and unsubscribe from the newsletter from any issue.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, or opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do neither).
To exercise any of these, email support@daytrellis.com.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and owner-only database access rules. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
DayTrellis is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and a child cannot create an account or use the product. The account holder is always an adult.
A parent or caregiver may add a child profile for a child under 18 they support. That profile is a way for you to plan and track the support you give. It is not an account for the child, and the child never uses DayTrellis.
When you add a child profile, we store information you provide about that child so we can run the parent-facing plan and coach. That can include:
- a display name you choose
- their birth year (not a full date of birth), so we can fit daily actions to a rough age band
- answers you give on a parent-rated questionnaire about their attention and behavior
- whether you tell us a professional has diagnosed them with ADHD, has not, or you are unsure
- the daily plan of your actions, your check-ins, and messages you send the coach while that profile is selected
We ask you to confirm, before the profile is created, that this tracking is about your consistency, not a measure of your child. It is not a diagnosis and not a score of how they are doing. The coach answers you, the parent or caregiver, never the child.
This information is treated as your account data. It stays in our database with the same access rules as the rest of your account. It is not sent to analytics or to the newsletter. Coach messages, including those you send while a child profile is selected, are processed by our AI provider as described under “The AI coach” above.
If you delete your account, child profiles and the information stored on them are deleted with it. You can also remove a child profile from Account. To access, correct, or ask us to remove information about a child profile, email support@daytrellis.com.
Where your data is handled
DayTrellis is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
